We’ve expanded our design team with the appointment of Ewan Lait as Graduate Structural Engineer.
After gaining a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Ewan travelled to Zambia as a volunteer to work on construction projects and to teach English and Maths.
He then continued travelling across Morocco and parts of Europe before returning to Norfolk to explore his passion for structural engineering.
Ewan joined Alcock Lees in January and he has already become a great support to the team by assisting in answering queries and producing designs on his own projects.
Not only does Ewan bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, but he has a desire to ‘dive into projects’ from beginning to end.
He has also started to liaise with clients and has shown himself to be a responsible and tenacious member of the design team.
